Buyers, make sure you are an informed consumer when purchasing items. Amazon cannot regulate the price that its sellers are listing for products. The seller Eleven Adar has a trend of severely inflating prices on items that are out of stock on Amazon. Take a look at their negative comments!!! They have done this numerous times in their history as a seller.
I was actively looking to purchase the Hamilton Beach Set n’ programmable crock pot, model number 33967. The manufacturer lists this programmable crock pot for $59.99. Eleven Adar jack their price to $199.99 when they were the only seller with the item in stock. I went to Sears last night and bought it for $60!!
I am appalled that Amazon cannot or will not regulate the sellers. I wanted to pass this on to other buyers to alert them, so they won’t be taken advantage of, just so a seller can make more $$. Better programmable crock pot Late than Never
In viewing Thanksgiving recipes I read that keeping mashed potatoes in a cooker slow was a time saver as well as eliminating items that need to go in the oven. I went online and, believe it or not, there were reviews on cooker slow from Consumer Reports! This Hamilton Beach programmable crock pot was the top pick so my search was immediately over! I was distressed since the delivery date was a month away, and I needed it for Thanksgiving. It arrived early and was a big hit. I finally used it last nite for my dinner. What a treat to walk in my door and have my dinner waiting. Sauerkrut and spareribs of all things, but it was very good. Perhaps a little brown suger - from my old cooking days - would enhance the dish. I am very pleased with this Pressure cooker.
Great for office parties
I was tired of trying to transport food to my holiday office party and have half of it spill in my car on the way there so as soon as I saw this Pressure cooker. I had to have it. The sealing gasket works great, no spills even with soups or stews on my 40 minute commute! I especially like the probe feature, it is unique among Pressure cooker. I have seen in the stores. Highly recommend the cooker slow.
