All clad slow cooker review this is not an inexpensive all clad pressure cooker but I decided to get it since I have been happy with all of All Clad other cookware. It is the only cooker slow I could find that has a metal rather than a silicone rim to the lid, it is huge so you can cook a small or very large meal, and the insert is a ceramic dish with a lead-free glaze (I checked with the company). It is easy to use, and works perfectly well. With my first meal, I checked the internal temp of the roast, and it had reached and kept the suggested safe temp. The only draw back is one that seems to be a problem with all slow cookers or quart pot; the external skirt is not insulated so much heat is radiated outwards instead of inwards. This seems counter-intuitive to me. However, it doesn’t affect the performance, it just wastes power. This is a good stainless clad buy but this is my first slow cooker chicken so I cannot compare to any other highly rated one.

VersaWare Cooker slow
This is a very well made and nice looking chicken crock pot that is easy to use and easy to clean. The one-container ability that the VersaWare liner provides is a big plus to saving room and dirty dishes. The liner is very easy to clean and maintains a much more attractive finish than the previous glazed stoneware liners I have used over the last ten years. This cooker slow also seems to cook a lot more uniformly across the liner than my previous stoneware cookers did.
As has been a very common complaint with Rival crock pots and slow cookers - they cook on too high a temperature when set to “low”. This cooker slow seems to run at medium and high temperatures and is not a very good choice if you plan on leaving it for more than 6-8 hours. The warm setting works great and is perfect to re-heat items that the oven would normally dry out. A great slow cooker reviews as long as you realize that it cannot be left for a full day without burning the food. If you do plan on leaving it all day, then make sure you add about 30% more liquid so that it doesn’t dry out and burn.
A great programmable crock pot and well worth the money.

Great quart pot
This is a great crock pot cooker . I love it. But my ceramic inner shell cracked the same as it did for many other people. If you go to slow cooker reviews (forum) you’ll see what I mean. Anyway, it was 15 minutes into the first use of it and I heard a loud pop. I knew right away what is was but I let it keep cooking anyway. I use the “crockpot” liners another awesome product available at Amazon, so the crack didn’t really matter. When the food was done I examined the pot and found indeed a hairline crack was there, but it was so minute and with the liners it wasn’t a problem for me. I have used it 20 times since and the crack hasn’t gotten any worse. I think once it cracks once, its done cracking. I called Kitchen aid and they sent me a new ceramic liner free of charge, shipping on them and it arrived in about a week. I haven’t even opened the box because I plan to save it if my original one ever gets worse; but I don’t think it will. Other than that, this is the best slow cooker on the market. Its huge and very versatile, and will not let you down like other 7 quart slow cookers on the market. Worth every penny, crack or no crack.

Good Slow Cooker Choice
We’re pleased with the Rival 3 1/2 Quart slow cooker. It has only two settings, low & high, but that suits us –simplicity –it works fine. We like the clean simple lines and the clear, see-through lid. The oval shape is nice, and of course you can take out the inside stoneware pot for cleaning. The price is not bad. All in all, an excellent choice for us!
crock pots rival
Great addition to the kitchen , I have a larger one as well. Cleans up easily. Miss the 4/6hr timer that the larger model has, but still great product.

Changed our Lives
